If you don't follow me on twitter, I get that is likely because I retweet snarky things about the Bachelor. So, truce?

Anyway, I received the polish to test out from Influenster and so post wedding I whacked it on my digits.

Here are a few things to note: I pick at my fingernails constantly (I cannot believe I am talking about my fingernails on my blog) and my nails were pretty beat up after the wedding. I had gotten shellac, followed by the worst tradtional manicure at a salon, followed by katie salvaging my nails for my wedding day, and so my nail beds were just a wreck. The idea that this stuff would stay on MY fingers for two weeks seemed pretty far-fetched, but in the name of research, I tried it out.

This is after one coat of the nail polish goodness. The instructions say to do two followed by the gel top coat.

After two-- have I mentioned that I am not the steadiest hand in the world when it comes to actually getting nail polish on to the longest nail beds ever?

Time for a top coat of goodness.

Here's the thing that I LOVE about this stuff: you don't need a light to seal it all like shellac. And it was sealed on there let me tell ya. My nails looked just like this for four days (a record for me) because I started to pick at them. The polish was tough to get off by me peeling at it (this post is getting gross), but came off easily with regular nail polish remover. No soaking your digits in a bowl of acidy, toxic crap. Just remove like normal. The polish really does bind to your nail and I can totally see where a non-picker could make this last for a week plus.
