I frankly don't have words for this bad boy, so I am just sharing it with y'all. A special thanks to Ben Simkins for this piece of loveliness. I refuse to say how many times I have watched it.

For lyla. Who made me a mom. Who showed me what confidence and power and love and sass and humor and beauty and patience and hardship really are. She has the universe in her little being and I feel so privileged to be her mom and walk beside her— watching her grow and change. Privileged and humbled. I love you Lyla. It’s been a bit since I did a big book update. These are all on my TBR digital pile and on hold at the library or physical copy I also have (oh God, it’s a lot): Things to do when it’s raining, So here’s the thing, The Seasonaires, Star-Crossed, A Spark of Light, Born a Crime, Where the Crawdads Sing, Queenie, Conversations with Friends, When all is said, the girl he used to know, Shortest Way Home (mayor Pete), I owe you one, city of girls, normal people, maybe you should talk to someone, the lost girls of Paris, lost roses. 🤓📚🛀🤷🏼‍♀️ a few people have wondered HOW I read so much— I read at least two hours a day and I also read VERY fast. 90% of the books I read, I read every word— so to call it speed reading isn’t accurate. I just read QUICKLY. My book count is at 22 for the year so far and to hit my 50 goal means I gotta pick it up a bit. My favorite read thus far this year is a tie between Educated and Daisy Jones.
